I'm usually not one for New Year's resolutions. I've learned that I'm the type of person that gets bored easily and a resolution can be too broad or simple. Thus, leaving the inevitable to happen - I don't do it. I was listening to the podcast, "Happier with Gretchen Rubin", and was introduced to the concept of having a theme for the year. I could really get down with that!
A theme seemed to be more achievable and to agree with my nature to explore many things at different times. As I enter the age of 37 there's still a lot of personal, professional and spiritual improvement I'd like to do. My theme became GROWTH!
I envision a flower. In order to grow it must be nourished, it struggles through the soil and rises towards the sun to bloom in all its glory. At the end of 2015 I jumped at the chance to take an entrepreneurial class that started the first week of 2016. (If you'd like to join go here.)
I now have my working list and I'm finding a theme less constricting.
As far as photography goes I am focused this year on building greater connection with my clients and delivering wonderful service. What do you think you're theme would be for 2016? I'd love to hear them. Have a great 2016 everyone!
